Meet the Family
What an exciting time for the Gonyea family! Grandma was the first to meet Tyler, and an emotional meeting it was. Grandma had tears of joy as she loved on her 1st grandson.
Uncle Jeff seemed like a natural and wanted to hold Ty every chance he got!
Uncle Kurt was "indifferent to holding him" but warmed right up to the little guy!
Uncle Kevin drove the entire way up to meet his new nephew. Although he is not a "little uncle" we are so proud of big Uncle Kevin who quit smoking just for Tyler!!!
Auntie Alex was the last to meet the little guy, but was always by Kevin's side when he needed her :)

Father's Day
Daddy got to celebrate his first Father's Day this year by 5 days! Naturally for Father's Day we gave him Reese's and Peanut Butter M&M's!

1st bath at home
For Tyler's 1st bath at home Mommy and Daddy worked as a team. I was still very sore and not able to move around too much so Daddy did most of the heavy lifting! While Daddy was undressing Tyler for his bath Jojo was watching from the other side of the counter. Grandma and I were taking pictures to capture every minute. Ty was not happy about being undressed and started to cry right away. As Daddy was taking his diaper off Tyler started to pee but Daddy did not notice right away. When he finally saw the stream he said "what the" and tried to cover it with his hand at the same time Grandpa was jumping out of the way because little man was peeing over the counter. Grandma and I were laughing so hard I had to hold onto the fridge (hey I had stitches!) for dear life! After we washed Tyler's body Daddy wrapped him up so we could wash his hair. As We were holding him I noticed water was spilling out of the sink, all over my shirt, and onto the floor. On second inspection the water was not overflowing, TYLER PEED ON US AGAIN! Welcome to parenthood!

Tyler is too cute just hanging out sucking on his puppy pacifier. Good thing Daddy found this in the store for you!

1st doctors visit
Friday Daddy and I took Ty to his first doctors appointment with Dr. Higgens! She is fabulous and answered so many questions! Today you weighed a little less than we like at 6 pounds 8 ounces, but we will plumping you up in no time!

Gervais' welcome the new Gervais!
Grandma and Jojo jumped on the plane 1st thing and were here to see Tyler around 10 a.m. That was pretty quick considering Tyler was born at 8:05! It was so nice to have support on those 1st few days at home. Grandma wasted no time and filled the house with food! Tyler and Jojo were best of buds from the beginning. It was amazing how his little body would relax as soon as he was in his arms :) When it was time to leave the hospital Daddy buckled you in your new car seat that swallowed you whole and Jojo and Grandma picked us up out front. Grandma and Mommy sat in the back with little man and took pictures the entire way home!
