Our favorite strawberry patch is open and we were ready to pick! Ty brought his dump truck bucket and ran out to the fields. We talked about picking the big bright red berries even though he wanted the green ones. He dropped his bucket and reached out for his first berry of the season. He threw it in the bucket with a big smile on his face. This is where his excitement for picking the strawberries ended! Tyler was much more interested in picking up rocks and racing down the rows of berries. I sat Chase down in the grass and at first he was not a fan. He quickly spotted the strawberries and reached out for his own berry. Of course after we picked his berry he put the ENTIRE berry in his mouth! I told Tyler he could eat one strawberry before we went to check out which turned into him trying to eat every berry he could pull off but I managed to get most of them into our bucket.
