Living out of boxes

Some day this house will be organized and unpacked but in the meantime we left the screws for the crib in NC so I am using the rail as a baby gate, our big TV will not turn on, and Ty is still sleeping in the pack n' play!

little gifts...

There are so many little gifts left for us in the new house like medically sponsored hand soap in every bathroom and lace inside the kitchen cabinets!!

More supplies

Moving into a new house means spending lots of time at our home away from home...Home depot that is!

Let the loading begin!

We (I mean Chris) started loading the truck and about half way through realized there is NO WAY we were going to get all of our crap, junk, precious possessions, stuff into the 26' Uhaul. We (Chris) loaded up as much as we could and went back to the Uhal place and picked up a 12' trailer for Chris to pull behind the truck. Sadly it was still not enough!!!! We set out on the road around 11 pm and at 2 am we were only in SOUTH CAROLINA!!! I called Chris and told him we needed to stop for the night but we could not find a pet friendly hotel so Chris helped us settle into a hotel and he drove on through with all 3 animals in the cab of the truck...He finally arrived at our new house at 5:30 am...

We have a truck!

We picked up the moving truck and instead of going home we met up with Karissa for Chipotle and parked the moving truck in the parking lot at a grocery store! We packed up the house and took a break for some frozen yogurt and Ty sampled it for the first time. OF COURSE he had little welts around his mouth after, but he liked it...

Score!

While at Walmart picking up some door mats I picked up some free boxes! I shoved them into the jeep and sent Chris a pic of my score for the day. And then I remembered I was in GA and how were we going to get these back to NC when they take up all of the space in my jeep? 

Oh well, that problem is for Daddy to solve!

Baby jail

It is time to get to work on the new house, and Daddy started by ripping out the nasty carpet. Ty either has to be held or placed in baby jail, but it has perks! Cheryl lent us a DVD player and he watched Mickey Mouse Club house

On the road again

We officially closed on our house in GA and Ty and I are driving down to see the house for the very first time! Traffic has not been our friend, but we are so excited to finally see the house!!!!
