Dropping of my 1st CD!!

This is one big step for Jenn Gervais photography. After a computer crashing with all of the images on it I was really worried about getting the images to the family in time. It was such a relief to hand deliver the DVD to the family! Then to make things better, on Facebook Jen posted this comment:

Work hard, play harder

Today we went to the park for a mini session with Lindsay. I was excited to explore a trail I found back in the woods and it was worth the wait! Ty and T did really good waiting for us to finish so we spent some time at the park when we were done. Lindsay tried to do the monkey bars but struggled to get across 2 bars. I was thinking it was because she didn't swing and get momentum to get to the next one so I told her I would show her what I meant. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? This is so hard I can only get across 3 bars!!! How did I do this as a kid?????

At least this time he had more fun on the swing! Well until he couldn't suck his thumb...

Mini Me

We have started a new tradition on Saturday morning of going to breakfast. Our time with Daddy is short on the weekends and we take advantage of every opportunity to have family time. It was a little chilly this morning so Daddy and Ty wore their patriots hoodies.

First real time at the park

We FINALLY had a break in the rain so Ty and I decided to go to the park and try out Mommy's new lens that Grandma bought!!!! Ty had fun climbing on the play structure but swinging was just ok...

 

Mommy service

 Not only did they bring my tray to the table, they also brought me a high chair and a mat for the table, refilled my drink while I was eating, and then took my tray when I was done. This is above and beyond service I appreciate especially when I am out with just the 2 of us...

It's here, it's here!!!

My lens is here and Ty is sleeping. I am taking pictures of EVERYTHING around me. A can of soda, a toy, the dogs....And then I hear him! Now it is time to play in the front yard so Mommy can break in her new lens!!!! THANK YOU MOM!!!!!!

Boston strong run

It is hard to imagine how people can plan things that harm so many innocent people. We should not have to worry about bombs going off at the finish line of a marathon. The Boston bombing is not the first disaster we have faced as a nation this year. Today all across the country 5-k runs were held to show our support for the victims and their families from this tragedy. It is a way to honor them, and acknowledge the wrong that has been done to them. This was just too close to home for us.

I could not find Ty's brush after his bath and his hair grew out of control!!!

Daddy was watering the new grass in the backyard and Ty was watching him. This is the best video of him laughing. EVER!

A right of passage

As worried as I get with all of the extra things they put in food, I had to make an exception of Chef Boy Ardee. Ty LOVED this and ate almost all of the 7 oz container!

Hey is saying mama!!!

He is finally saying mama! He is growing so fast!!

Where is he going??

When I tell you this boy is everywhere, THIS BOY IS EVERYWHERE! To be honest, I love it! I am sure that will change in a couple weeks but right now I love watching him go all over the house!

His 1st crawl!!!!

Daddy has been so worried about missing him crawling while he is working in GA. Every weekend we practice crawling and he is SO close. Then today in the morning Daddy let Mommy sleep in and he and Ty were practicing and Ty moved a leg but didn't go anywhere. When we put him down in his crib he moved his arms a little, but didn't really go anywhere either. After his nap we knew it was going to happen so we brought him in the room and had the camera ready. THEN HE CRAWLED!! 10 months and 2 days old!!

It is such a beautiful day Ty and I sat outside with Daddy as he washed the jeep!

10 months!!!!!!!!!!

Where do I even begin? You bring so much joy to our lives and every week you seem to do something that warrants a video camera! You are funny and have learned to fake laugh. You also scrunch your nose up and blow air through your nose. You find the most random things hysterical so Daddy and I do them over and over again. YOU EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! If you see a plate you assume something on it is yours and your make an mmmm sound until we give you something off of it. You have six teeth, four on top and two on bottom. You can now sit up on your own from any position and have started pulling up on things but mostly staying on your knees. Separation anxiety has kicked in but just a little pout. We have found that eggs do not agree with you right now, so no more scrambled eggs for you! You hair curls like crazy when you sweat or after your bath, and Daddy really wants to cut it. Too bad. You love to walk around the house while we hold your hands. You have also started clapping your hands!

You weigh 16.8 pounds and are 28" long. Not much growth this month!

Busted lip

Ty was scooting around on the floor and slipped. He busted his lip with his tooth and it swelled up so big! My poor baby.

Baby on the move

We are still not crawling, but we are on the move! Ty has started venturing off the mat and figured out how easy it is to slide around on the floor. He was all over the living room! And YES that is a pacifier in his mouth, he found it and has been chewing on it...

A nap time HOT mess!

I put Ty down for his nap and he decided today was the day he was going to pull up onto his knees in the crib. OF COURSE it is the day Daddy leaves for GA and I can't have him lower the crib!

Then later that day he fell asleep while eating so we took a little nap and when we woke up there was a puddle of sweat!!! Yuck!

Ty uses is new teeth for tearing into food, and making toys squeak!

Sending off lunch for Daddy

This is Daddy's last day with us before he starts his new job at Yamaha so after church we went to fire house subs where kids eat free on Sunday so you had your 1st free meal! Yummy grilled cheese :) And to my surprise you really enjoyed my pickle!

Boys work

Daddy and Ty cleaned up the backyard, hey this is stinking bonding time!

Pancakes, ducks, chickens, and pigs!

We went to Ihop for breakfast where Ty had his 1st pancake! To say he liked it would be an understatement! He ate 1 whole pancake!!! After breakfast we went to tractor supply and they had the cutest chickens and ducks for us to watch. The best part of the tractor supply trip was the piggy we played with!

Having Daddy home during the week has been so much fun! He fed Ty sheppard's pie for dinner and Ty had 3 helpings! When I say this boy can eat, THIS BOY CAN EAT! One of these days his weight will catch up!!
