A busy Sunday

Tyler is getting so big and strong. He pushes himself up and looks around, and is even starting to pull his legs under his tummy!

 He was so proud of himself when he grabbed onto the ring. He pulled and on it over and over making the music play.

Happy Birthday Mommy/ 5K

Today was a busy day that started EARLY! Ty woke up to eat around 4:45 and finished at almost 5:15 so instead of going back to sleep (and I almost did) for 45 minutes I got up and started getting the family ready. We had to meet for the Husqvarna group picture at 8, but I did not know this until we were leaving the house at 7:15 to head for chic-fil-a for breakfast. The race was not until 9 so I THOUGHT we were doing great on time, but not so much. After some quick driving we pulled into the parking lot and naturally Ty picked this time to have a huge blow out so I had to change him in the back of the jeep (which explains the red pants) before we could find our group. Somehow we actually made it in time for the picture, and then got ready to start the walk. There were so many people there but we managed to finish the 5K in 52 minutes.

The birthday ended with FSU giving us anxiety attacks as the eventually beat Clemson! What a great way to spend my 28th birthday (YIKES!)

Goodbye 0-3 months

I know he is 3 months and this is what happens, but I can't believe I am already packing up these clothes...I feel like I just pulled them out! Now we have the 3-6 months out and when I hold them up I think there is NO way this will fit him, but they magically shrink and fit him! 

Hello Auntie Lindsay

Today we met Auntie Lindsay for the first time! Lindsay and Linda are in Charlotte HOUSE HUNTING! I am so excited to be reunited with her again!

Sitting in the bath

We now take a bath without the net holding him up. He is a little unstable still but it gives him more room.

Daddy loves to wrap him up like a little mummy, so cute!

He figured out how to get his fingers in his mouth without gagging himself, but Mommy is trying to stop this...Wish me luck!

One minute he was laying next to me on the bed, the next he rolled into my leg and was sound asleep :) This boy melts my heart!

Come on Mom...

Ty loves to chew on his fist. I had him sitting on my lap and he opened his little hand and blocked my shot. I just know he was thinking, come on Mom, I am just sucking on my fist so put your camera down!

I love how when he sleeps he cycles through emotions. One minute he is pouting, the next laughing, and then back to my sleeping angel! 

We received our annual apple care package from Grandma Dolly so it is apple pie time! YUM!

3 Months Old!

Wow the time is flying by! You weigh at least 12 pounds now and wear size 0-3 clothes. You have an opinion about how you are positioned, and most of the time insist on sitting up (even though you can't do this yet). You are VERY strong and hold your head up well. You can really push yourself up when you are on your tummy, and you can tuck your legs under. You open your hands and reach for things and have even managed to hold on to your toys. You love to chew on you fists and have started to suck on your fingers (and gag yourself...) all the time. You are so verbal and love to talk and smile. Most nights you go to bed around 8:30 and sleep until 4. Your hair has started growing back on top, but has fallen out in the back. You are such a happy baby!

Family in training

We are training for the National Heart Association 5K so we went to the park. Daddy took us off roading, and although I love my stroller, a hill with rocks is no match for any stroller! This was our first time back here since before lil' man was cozy in my belly. We walked here with the dogs trying to induce labor and it brought back so many feelings of excitement and that anticipation! I need to find a walking partner so after this 5K I can keep losing this baby weight...

Football Sunday

Daddy and Ty hung out together and watched the Patriots play on TV. In order to get a picture of the both of them, I had to stand in between them and the TV! It is already beginning...

I have been wanting a picture of this for weeks now! It is so sad and cute at the same time! As soon as I saw that little lip start to quiver I pulled out the iPhone and FINALLY caught a picture :)

Happy anniversary!

 Today was our 1 year anniversary. It is hard to believe how much has changed in our lives in 1 year. We got  married, bought a house, sold our GA house, had a baby, bought a truck, traded it in for a jeep, sold the fusion, bought another truck, and mommy retired to become a stay at home mom! To celebrate we went to dinner at Red Lobster. It was so special to have Great Grandma and Grandpa here to celebrate our anniversaries together.

 1 year for us, 52 years for them, happy anniversary!
