Big boy booboo

While trying to pull up on a toy he slipped and gave himself his 1st mini black eye

Great Grandma was playing patty-cake with Ty and he started clapping all by himself.

Balloons!!!

We were shopping at Publix and Ty was getting a little fussy so I went over to the balloons and started bouncing one in front of him. He started doing that deep belly laugh and I kid you not, we drew a crowd! People were stopping in the isles to get a glimpse of this giggling baby. One lady told me to take a video and put it on youtube! He was enjoying so much that one of the workers went into the back and made a little balloon (and yes I know they are a chocking hazard and he was never left alone with it, and yes I made sure he didn't bite it and the string was tied to a toy) for us to take home. We had so much fun with the one in the store that the poor balloon started to drop, and then it was barley floating. I wish I said I did the right thing and paid for the balloon, but Great Grandma took it from me and rested it on the plants...They can be refilled, right???

When we got back to Uncle Kevin's house Ty showed him his awesome balloon!

Waffle Fri THIEF!

The journey to FL is long, so we stopped to stretch our legs and introduce the Grandparents to the finer things in life like Chic-fil-a! While I was talking with Ty on my lap (who was eating bread ) when out of no where he snatched the waffle fri right out of my hand! I just looked down at what was left of the fri in my hand when my brain said GRAB YOUR CAMERA THIS IS HIS 1ST FRI!! One of the workers saw him chowing down on food and brought him a free little cow! I think this is the beginning of the end...

By the time we made it to Uncle Kevin's house it was 12:30. Poor Auntie Alex was waiting for us at 9, then 10:30, then 11....When you travel with a baby it takes MUCH LONGER!! I thought I would be able to slip this little man into bed and head there myself but he had other plans. As soon as we stepped inside his eyes popped open and he was wide awake for over an hour! At least Uncle Kevin and Auntie Alex were able to spend time with him!

Hello Great Grandpa!

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma left New York at 4:30 am and made it to Charlotte just in time to help Ty brush his teeth and get ready for bed!

Date Night

Chris received tickets to see the Celtic's play for his birthday. Auntie Lindsay watched Ty while we enjoyed a night out, even if the Celtic's didn't play 2 of their starters and lost the game...

9 Months!!!!!!!!!

You are growing more and more every day! Your hair is getting thicker and your eye lashes are so long. Sitting up by yourself is not a problem and you have started going from a sitting position onto your hands and knees. You rock on all 4's but then drop to the ground and yell for us. If we do not pick you up right away you lay your head down and suck your thumb. Your 2 bottom teeth are really sharp and you love to bite on Mommy's shoulder. You make sounds like ba, da, ya, smacking your lips, blowing spit bubbles, rolling your tongue,  ah, uh, and of course screaming. Feeding yourself is your big accomplishment. You will drink out of a sippy cup but you refuse to hold it yourself.  When you play in your exersaucer you jump your little body off the ground. You will also roll a ball and love to watch the animals.  

You are in the 5% range for weight at just 15 pounds and the 75% range for height at 28" (although this number can go up or down a 1/2" depending on who measures you...)

When you turned 9 months it was our 1st nice day outside in so long so I set up a blanket on a tarp in the front yard and let you enjoy some toys. I was not counting on your curiosity with everything around you. This made taking your picture very difficult  so I just gave up and starting snapping pictures of you. Cars are one of your favorite things to watch and you will whip your head right around to follow them down the road.

Missing the Coppollela Family

The Coppollela Family is in Orlando for spring training, but they were nice enough to let us stay at their house while we house hunt! We missed playing with them but Ty enjoyed their toys!

Ga trip

The adventure of finding a house in GA (again) is beginning this weekend! We made time to stop in and visit Grandma Kathi who cooked us dinner :)

Teething Cookie

The great thing about teething cookies is it takes them a long time to finish them. The cookie usually outlast the baby in our case. The bad this is WTH, how are they so messy??? I have decided these are an at home treat!

Easter play

Today Ty played with Easter grass, plastic eggs, and some cups :)

Aghhhh moment

When we walked in to the church nursery to pick up Ty he was sitting on the floor (and not the soft padded mat) all by himself. My first thought was aghhhhh if he falls he will hit his head, followed by WOW look how well he sits up now!!! It is amazing how if he has something to entertain him he will sit up for a long time, but when he is at home he sits up for 5 minutes and then lays down...At least he can do it!

While I was shooting the styled session with Casey, Chris and Ty were waiting inside in the warmth of the vineyard  I walked in and found my 2 boys watching Mickey Mouse Club House on the ipad. I <3 boys="" p="" these="">
