Time for a check up

We had Chase's 1 month check up. Luckily Daddy joined us so this appointment went very smoothly! Chase is growing like a weed! He weighs 8 pounds & 3.5 ounces (50%), 23 1/2" (98%), and his head is 39 1/2 cm (90%)

Let's go for a walk

Chase is too small for the double stroller so we went for a walk like this! Let's burn off some baby weight!

Just did .6 miles, it's a lot harder like this but the weather is too beautiful to be inside!

Nap time snuggles

It is not very often that Chase sleeps on my chest but while Ty was napping we snuck in one too.

1 month!

How in the world has a month passed already?! You are such a sweet boy and love to be held. Your hair is starting to fall out on the top. You are not a big fan of your swaddle and have broken out of it several times. Your eyes are blue for the moment, but starting to get darker. You have started smiling when I talk to you and you are looking around at everything. Your head control is not as good as you think it is and we have to keep a hand close by as you try to hold it up! You enjoy laying on a blanket, especially if Daddy or Tyler are sharing it with you. You are not a fan of baths or the bounce seat but you love being carried in my wrap and going for walks in the neighborhood. I can't believe how fast you are growing! You gained a pound within the first 2 weeks and an inch! We are finally starting to get the hang of this nursing thing, although you like to fall asleep on the job. Most of the time you are sleeping in your own bed at night. You seem to do best when you are held and I lay you down when you are almost asleep although we are still working on this too...

Spoons!!

We might have been a little out of control while hanging out after the babies went to sleep...

Ipad time

After getting home and all dried off Ty wanted to sit and play with Jeff and Kurt. Lucky little boy being spoiled by his uncles and showing off his skills on the iPad.

Rainy day at the park

We wanted to take Ty to the park but of course the sky was about to drop buckets of rain when we arrived. We decided it would be fun to play in the rain! The boys went and played in the rain while we hung out in the nice warm car. Ty had SO much fun.

New wrap

Grandma bought me the baby k'tan wrap since I was sweating to death in the other one. Chase is now one happy camper and I have my hands back!! Thanks Grandma!

Doggy spa day

The dogs were not too happy about getting cleaned but they were in good hands. I wish the boys were around to take care of this all the time!

Tyler wanted to play in his pool so Grandma and Uncle Kurt set up the pool and brought down his toys.
