The not so playful play mat

I placed Tyler on the play mat for the first time. He started kicking, swinging his arms, and looking at the light. After about a minute he decided this was not so much fun and started screaming. Oh well, maybe next month!

Really long hose...

Little Man was hanging out in the bounce seat after his doctors visit today. Dr. Higgens asked how things were going and I told her we were finally changing less wet clothes, although I still don't understand how he can pee out of the back of the diaper! Dr. Higgens replied, well he does have a really long hose...We told Daddy when he got home from work and naturally he said "heck yeah, that's my boy!"

Jones visit day 2

Jones Family Visit

Lori and Emily came to visit Tyler for the weekend!

Emily watched Mommy talk to Tyler. 

She wanted to share her toys with him and introduced him to Vegas! 

It was so cute to watch her hold Tyler. She even shared BLEE with him. Every time Tyler would cry Emily told us to give him his puppy:) 

Auntie Jenn and Emily made a flower necklace together. 

Emily wanted to take Tyler on a walk so Mommy helped her push the carriage around the block.

Bath time trick

We have discovered Tyler enjoys his bath so much more with a washcloth on his belly to keep him warm AND as a bonus it keeps us safe from his fire hose!

In the bed

Sooo not suppose to be in the bed, but look how cute he is...

Daddy and I had a talk about how you would NOT sleep in our bed, but you quickly had us wrapped around your little finger and made your way into the bed for now at least!

1 month

Wow 1 month old today! I can't believe how big you are getting, but how small you still are. Here is a review of our 1st month: You snort and cry when you are hungry. Your favorite place to sleep is on Mommy's chest. You are 8 pounds, 12 ounces and 23 inches long. You have lost some of your hair on the top of your head!

It's my turn now

Little Man was sitting with Daddy and watching him make faces. When Mommy walked by Tyler turned his head and tracked her around the room. Daddy said "hey you get to look at her all day, it's my turn now".

Tyler fell asleep all by himself for the 1st time! I was so excited I took a picture, and woke him up...My bad.

Tyler's umbilical cord fell off on on July 1st. This was his 1st bath where his body was in the water.Check out that belly button!
