This was Tyler's first time at an amusement park and I was not sure what to expect at Bush Gardens. There were surprisingly plenty of things to keep a toddler entertained with! At this age he loves animals so getting to walk around and see them around every corner was exciting.
We went into the bird exhibit where there were birds flying around everywhere! This was fun to watch Tyler trying to get close enough to touch one and then it would fly off. He would just look up at me and say where did he go? Aunt Kelli helped him get closer to a couple :)
After the bird exhibits nothing could have prepared me for the level of excitement that came from seeing Elmo and Cookie Monster! I knew he loved them but I had to HOLD ON TIGHT because he wanted to go up and be a part of the show. Afterwards he had a chance to meet the characters (which is a hard thing for him to understand waiting in line) and take a couple pictures.
We took a lunch brake back in the van and we all got a chance to cool off and refuel!
We finally lucked out and Tyler took a nap in the stroller so the big kids could have some fun!
While we were waiting for Kelly and Sam to get off of the roller coaster Ty entertained himself with his new big bird basketball!
Even though we ended up having an allergic reaction to our sunscreen, we had a great time!
